Fall Lentil and Vegetable Soup

Ingredients -
salt, pepper
bay leaves
white onion
chopped carrots, celery
2 cups of dried, rinsed lentils
1 can of red kidney beans, or black beans
1 cup of frozen corn
1 cup of spinach
3 garlic cloves
Instructions
1.) saute onions
2.) after onions are sauteed, add the chopped carrots, celery, garlic, salt and let cook for a few more minutes
3.) then add the lentils, beans, corn (optional), bay leaves
4.) cover lentils with boiling water, then bring pot to a boil also, after it boils, then let simmer for 30 minutes
5.) during the last few minutes of the pot on simmer, throw in some spinach
